You’ve learned.
You’ve practiced.
You’ve prepared.
And yet, when you’re in the moment, that small voice starts to whisper:
I should know this.
I should remember that.
I should have the answer.
You're not the only one.
Every doula, every birth worker, every educator
has had those quiet moments of doubt.
You care deeply.
You want to do it right.
And that’s exactly why you’re the kind of support people need
You already have the heart.
You already have the knowledge.
This guide brings clarity to both, so you can move through birth with calm, confident care.

Hi, i'm cheyenne
I am a birth doula with a background in professional writing and information design. Birth has always felt like home to me. I stepped into graphic design thinking it was a different path, but the more I created, the more I realized how deeply design could serve birth. When birthwork called me back, it did not feel like a choice. It felt like coming home.
Early in my doula journey, I felt what many feel: the quiet panic of knowing what to do in theory but freezing in the moment. I wanted something clear and visual that could turn all that information into real, usable support. When I could not find it, I built it.
A Doula’s Guide to Labor Positions combines research and design to bring clarity to the chaos of birth. It is made to support birthworkers, educators, and partners, and anyone who wants to ease uncertainty and understand movement in labor with confidence and care.
Available in both Spiral-Bound and Interactive Ebook formats for easy access anytime, anywhere.

read bailey's story
Bailey brought A Doula’s Guide to Labor Positions to every birth she attended, but she didn’t realize how much it would matter until one night.

Her client had been laboring for hours and felt completely stuck, exhausted, and ready to give up. Bailey sat beside her and opened the book. They flipped through the pages together, pausing to talk about what might feel good next. The rhythm of turning pages became a rhythm of hope.

When they finally landed on a position that felt right, Bailey helped her move into it. Within minutes, things shifted. The baby moved, the tension eased, and the room softened.
After the birth, her client said, “When you showed me that page, I finally felt like I had options again.”

That’s what this guide is for. The quiet, powerful moments that remind us why we do this work.

This book is way too expensive.
This isn’t a mass-produced book.
Most books people are used to buying are printed by the thousands, created by teams, and shipped in bulk.
This book is different.
I wrote it, illustrated it, edited it, designed it, formatted it, and prepared it for print myself. I also order, store, and fulfill each copy by hand.
That means every part of this guide was created with care and intention, but it also means it is not subsidized by large publishers or bulk production.
When you purchase this book, you are supporting an independent birthworker who built a tool from the ground up to serve real birth rooms.
What qualifies you to create this?
This book is not built on personal anecdotes or years in the birth room alone. It is built on research, established pelvic dynamics, and evidence-based principles that already exist in birth care.
I hold a degree in professional writing and information design. My work is focused on taking complex, research-backed information and making it clear, visual, and usable in real time.
A Doula’s Guide to Labor Positions is a compilation of existing research, best practices, and pelvic mechanics, organized into a format that supports decision-making in the moment.
This book is not about my experience. It is about clarity.
I already know what I'm doing. I don't need this.
You might not.
If you feel steady in every birth and never wish for a visual reference or a shared language with your clients, you are doing important work.
This guide is not here to replace your knowledge or your intuition. It exists for the moments when labor surprises you, when your brain is tired, or when you want to explore options without starting from scratch.
It also gives your clients something tangible to see and respond to. When people can visualize their options, they feel more prepared, more involved, and more autonomous in their own births.
This book supports you, but it also supports the people you are caring for.
